Billy has been making up songs since he was 7 and playing guitar since he was 10. He played in Rock bands in his teens, unleashing the sounds of the experimental guitar players he loved on rural Sussex. But he soon discovered Bob Dylan, and at 17, swapped his Telecaster for an acoustic guitar. He is now a singer/songwriter whose music lives in the delicate space between the broad, beautiful strokes of nature and the alienated, intricate facets of city life. He combines elements of Folk, Rock, Pop and Jazz, as well as the Brazilian bossa nova artists and classic British songwriters he grew up with.
